VERNAL, Utah (July 28) - The Western Dirt Racing Association made it's second trip of the season to the Flower Capital of the Rocky Mountains to visit Diamond Mountain Speedway, and 15 Super Dirt Late Models showed up to put on a show for the race fans of northeastern Utah.

Jeep Berry's good fortune continued as he rolled into the pits as he drew the #1 pill for the night and started the first heat on the pole. Heat One went caution free with Jeep winning the heat, followed to the checkers by the 3C of Curt Daniels, with Dean Moore in third, and Terry Boushee, and Jason Davis rounding out the top five.

Heat Two came out and also went 10 laps caution free as North Glenn, CO's Gary DeChant, who was joining the WDRA for his second time this season, and winning the heat with Helper's Corey Smith taking second. Coming in third was the 83 of Kevin Wright making his first appearance of the season with the WDRA Super Dirt Late Models. Fourth and Fifth place were taken by Dan Shepherd and Steve Gray.

The four lap Pole Dash was again ruled by Jeep, with Gary DeChant, Dean Moore, and Curt Daniels locking in the top four spots in the Feature.

The Driver's came out for introductions before the feature for the capacity crowd. This feature was a barn burner, with Jeep Berry once again dominating the field for the first 22 laps, in which Berry had lapped all the way up to third place. The yellow came out for the #28 of Michael Wright who collided with the outside wall on the front stretch, and took away the large led that Jeep had for the final three laps. Jeep took his 8th feature of the season and wound up in Victory Lane once again, with Curt Daniels taking second on a last lap pass of Dean Moore. Gary Dechant came in fourth, and the #27 of Mike McGinn coming in fifth from his 12th place starting position. Terry Boushee was sixth, Jesse Dimmick seventh, Jason Davis in eighth, and Kyle Hill and Ron Lengel rounding out the top ten.
