Dean Moore and crewman Mike, June 6 Winner

Rock Springs, WY- Threatening weather wasn't enough enough to
slow Dean Moore down at Sweetwater Speedway June 6th.The former
WDRA champion had the field covered, leading all 25 laps en route
to a win over a combined WDRA/CLMA count of 19 cars. Scott green
brought the red #99 home in second after a last-lap pass of Rick
Lieser, with Curt Daniels and John Kuchar rounding out the top 5
in a race that went green from start to finish following a complete
restart, caused by debris on the track on lap 1. There were 10 cars
on the lead lap, and 17 running at the end. Track conditions were
exceptional throughout the evening, leading to some fast lap times
and ample passing opportunities.
Heat race winners were Scott Lewis, John Kuchar, and Rick Lieser.
The dashes were cancelled because of the approaching rain, but it
held off and allowed for a fantastic night of Late Model action.

The WDRA and CLMA now head for Fort Morgan, CO and a June 20th race date.
